And he may not have gotten off on the best foot with Ven but he doesn't want the kid finding his corpse. That'd be messed up.

He pokes his ghostly head through the bedroom door to check where Ven is in the appartment, comepletely unaware that he might be visible as he is. Afterall, ghosts usualy aren't right?
