Axel's not an easy one to sway with words. Promises and threats are equally unimportant in his eyes. And as to trying to break him down by pointing out his flaws or trying to say he's only hurting those he wants to help... well. Axel's pretty aware of his flaws already and accepts them, even embraces them.

It's be a lie to say he doesn't find that power a little alarming. But he's not the type to back down. Even if he gets snuffed out, he'll go down swinging and try to leave his enemy something to remember him by.

"Not very polite to just barge into someone's home, you know. And you talk about me dragging him down when I can practically feel the darkness you put off?"

It's like Xemnas in that regard as well as in the power itself. The way this guy wears the darkness like a second skin. Natural and absolutely terrifying.

"Might as well drop the act, pops. Been there, done that. What do you really want with the kid?"
