For those of you new residents, you probably are wondering what the sudden banners and rain of confetti is all about (and why, when you stand under the confetti, it changes you colors) but it's clear it's welcoming someone home.

Date: 2013-02-10 08:59 pm (UTC)When that familiar scent filled his lungs he was quick to get dressed for the weather and went out to meet her. Much to his annoyance though his response is far more muted that he intended it to be when he finally caught up to her, "Hello Miranda."
Although he wasn't very enthusiastic with his response there was a smile on his face.

Date: 2013-02-10 09:29 pm (UTC)She smiles sweetly at him and rocks the small carrier in her arms. She's a bit embarrassed, really. She tripped once and the doctors put her on bed rest for two weeks. But now she's bringing home her precious little one… Well, she's always wanted to be a mother. She just never expected it to actually happen.
"Um, uh, I…" She lifts it a little higher so he can see. She had her baby, a little girl. "Would, would you like to see her?" She has the motherly pride that's expected and dearly loves her little girl. It also explains her long absence…
